Workplace Collingwood - Desks

We are a shared office space that I opened as a prototype a couple of years ago. My aim was to create a place to work for business grown-ups, rather than the ubiquitous start-ups of most coworking spaces. Grown-ups who know their way around their work and take it seriously. Small business people who need a good, professional space to get work done and occasionally host clients. It didn’t need to be cool. It didn’t need games, toys, tap-beers or inspirational memes. Just a great, quality place for small business people to run their business alongside like-minded business people. We have been designed to have an 'arrival' ground floor comprising the foyer and meeting rooms, high-quality 'behind the scenes' work areas on the first and second floors, spaces for people to get away from their desks and cross paths, and plenty of good meeting rooms for coworkers and local businesses to use. It was also designed to be a quality benchmark for productive, healthy office space, with maximum natural light, planter-boxes for real-live plants, openable windows and heating/aircon for the inhabitants can control, and nature-like finishes – blonde timbers, textured stone-like surfaces, clean white walls, and grassy-green carpets. I've since added nice people, dog-friendliness, great coffee, a flexible attitude, and no distractions into the mix. Sound like you? We've got a full-time dedicated desk or part-time and casual hot-desking options, as well as one small private office (1-2 people) and a private team room (4-7 people) available, and we do meeting room hire for everyone (usually free for members).
